Amen! Last year I moved around a lot what with the end of college, trying to make it on my own (failing) moving back home, getting a great job (finally) and what not. It was a hectic year and my address changed a lot and I put in all the right paperwork when I changed every time for my voter registration. Well, elections rolled around and I went right after work to wait in a short line... when I get up there they can't find my number, my info, nada. They tell me that I'm at the wrong polling place. They tell me I'm still registered across town (through rush hour traffic and the polls close in a half hour). Needless to say I never made it. I think that if you're registered to vote you should be able to vote anywhere. Three days after the election I got my new card telling me that my new polling station is the one I went to when they sent me away.. it just didn't get to me in time. Bogus.
